No is the answer to epoxy after research.
(yet another parts car off in the background.....)if you look and the back of the plug, the pushrod can come out freely. After i tested all the solenoids, the pushrod came flying out on one of the ones that the tar is gone. When the rod disengages, it shoots backwards hitting the tar and eventually works it out. Since there is no backing if you were to use epoxy, it would epoxy the rod still so it wouldn't move. I am leaning towards making a plate that covers the back. This is to reinforce the rod hitting the back when it disengages. I am almost sure this is the cause of the tar comng out along with heat. So if you were to epoxy it without touching the rod... the rod would still work the epoxy out.
